Nice little place. Food is made fresh as you order.They have added a bunch of outdoor space for you to enjoy your meals if you are uncomfortable with being inside.Staff if very friendly and if you get a chance to swing by and eat you will be happy you did.

Great breakfast here, the home made hashbrowns with onions are absolutely amazing.

I eat lunch here regularly, amazing food and a unmatched friendly quality service. The only downside is its hours of operation, which are limited to weekdays from about 6:00am to 2:30pm and closed on the weekends.

My husband always ordered at work and then picked it up. So today was the first time I have ever eaten there. Great for breakfast or lunch. Had the famous fatboy and love,love,loved it. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere reminded me of the old fashioned diner I used to go with my dad so many years ago. If you love good food without the fuss.this is the place for you. I am definently going back. I think it is only open to 3 or 4pm.but opens at 6am.

This is an awesome little place. Food is great, service is great. Can't say enough good things. But sometimes I wish they were open for dinner too. Still a 5 star.

The lovely lady inside was not lying when she said they have the best chili in town. I love my chili cheese fries and theirs by far beat any other place I've been to. The chili is a meat chili without chunks of tomato's and onions and who knows what else, it's full of flavor and you don't have a bunch of grease leftover at the end like other places I've been to. I will definitely be back to try out even more of the menu!

5 months ago visited this place for lunch.I ordered Cheeseburger and fries with gravy , as soon as i took first bite of the burger i could see and taste that is the No Name brand frozen patty couse my parents use to buy it and i made it many times at home.Cooking them on grill helps but they still the worst burger ever, also observed that they had other products with No Name brand. Fries was to soft and to greasy.

Absolutely love this place, its family run with excellent genuine service. They always serve delicious, fast and fresh food. You cant beat the price for the quality. Always my number one choice or recommendation when eating out! They also have specials!

Excellent food made fresh when you order by the owner's, there now open until 7 pm and have some really good take out special's.

Stopped in for some fries for lunch. Was greeted with a hello! From the cook, and a smile from the waitress. Right away I noticed that this was a friendly place as everyone chatted with the owners as friends. My order was taken quickly, and with a smile. Within minutes I was happily munching on my fries. My kind server offered me some water to go with my meal. Fries hit the spot, and the gyros they cooked smelled delicious! Don't let the construction detour you, kind friendly service with great food awaits you! I totally have to come for breakfast.

I met my Uncle for lunch (he works at Buhler /Versatile), I didn't know where to go for lunch in that area of town, and he suggested this quaint little restaurant on Chevirer... At first, I felt like I was in one of those classic American diners (found across the Southern United States).Friendly people and incredible home-made food. Great coffee and classic (giant) burgers, yummy onion rings and amazing fries & gravy. It was so great! Thanks to the incredible staff! Loved my visit and my food!

Quite a nice surprise. Driven by thousands of times, but never imagined such a clean place and such a great Reuben sandwich.

Love this place. Never had a bad experience here. Always friendly staff, awesome service. At times can be crowded and have to wait for a seat. Worth the wait.

Came here following a recommendation from co-workers. The food was ok, but don't get the brown bread. They didn't seem to take COVID very seriously. Doesn't accept credit cards, but takes interac for a fee, in 2020... Never answers the phone, making take out time consuming. Also walked in as 2 employees were yelling at each other.

Fantastic restaurant for breakfast or lunch. I've taken both of my kids there at separate occasions and both had something completely different and they loved the food. Very friendly people and it is one of my go to's for comfort food

2nd time at this local eatery. It's a hidden gem amongst an array of businesses. Service with a smile is only one of the many features. Staff are friendly vivacious and ecstatic about serving the customers. Apparently a lot of regulars and all spoke well of the staff. Food was very fresh and appetizing. Quick service and enough to have you leaving filled up. Decor is very much Winnipeg. Plenty of free parking. A must try for an old style home cooked diner.
